Chamber Programs and Services

The Edgewood Chamber of Commerce is committed to growth, unity and prosperity! The Chamber is the central organization in which individuals and business leaders join hands to promote projects that will benefit you, your family, your business, and entire community. The Chamber provides information packets to those considering Edgewood as a new place to live or locate a business. We can also provide more detailed information on local attractions, businesses in Edgewood, or other local or regional subjects. For information, just call us at (505) 286-2577!

Information Resources

Chamber meetings help keep the membership informed and up-to-date on pertinent national, state, and local topics and issues. The Chamber responds to inquiries from families relocating to Edgewood, tourist information, and prospective business information. The Chamber website and community profile brochure and visitors guide help draw tourism dollars to Edgewood.

Community Service

The Chamber sponsors community events such as the Community Clean-up Day and Run, Rally, and Rock. The Chamber also is a sponsor of voter registration which supports our town and community. Edgewood Business Watch is a program in which Chamber volunteers monitor activity in the business district to spot and report suspicious activity.

Networking and Advertising Opportunities

  • Networking Breakfasts and Lunches help grow your business and learn more about other community businesses. Every other Friday, meet other
    businesses in the Estancia Valley and East Mountain area to network your business. Breakfast meetings are held every other Friday at various locations within the region. This is an excellent opportunity to hear from businesses from East Mountain Chamber, Edgewood Chamber and Moriarty Chamber. Call 281-1999 for more information.
  • Chamber Mixers - Chamber members host an evening of fun at their location. It is a great time to unwind, share stories with friends, mingle and get to know people in the community. Mixers are open to all - individuals and businesses.
  • Monthly Chamber Luncheon Meeting - The Edgewood Chamber of Commerce hosts a luncheon meeting on the 1st Wednesday of each month t. During this meeting, we have guest speakers talking about growing business, supporting the community or brainstorming on events. We work together to address issues associated with making Edgewood and the surrounding area a better place to live and work. Luncheons are held at 12:00 noon at the Edgewood Community Center. Lunches are catered and the cost is $10.00 per person.
  • Open Houses/Ribbon Cuttings - Join us in welcoming other businesses to our area. We support and help businesses with their grand openings or open house. We want you to be a part of our community because it is all businesses that make our region a wonderful place to live and work.
  • Business of the Month - At each luncheon, once a month we draw a name of a Chamber member. If your name or card is drawn from the collection bowl, your organization will receive a free ad in the Chamber’s monthly newsletter, The Chamber Edge.
  • Shop at Home - Flyers promoting local businesses to continue “shopping at home” – keeping business within our community.
  • Customer Outreach - Direct mailings include Chamber members' promotional materials are sent to potential newcomers to the Edgewood Area.

Awards

  • The Community On the Way Awards (COW Awards), presented in cooperation with the Town of Edgewood. The COW Awards recognize community members whose efforts have helped to make Edgewood a great place to work and live.
  • Gilmore Scholarship - The Edgewood Chamber of Commerce awards (4) $500 Scholarships each year to local high school graduates.

  • Annual Golf Tournament third Thursday in August at Paa-Ko Ridge Golf Club
  • Wind Festival - May at Wildlife West Nature Park
  • Run Rally & Rock - Town Celebration in August. Music, Car Show, Arts & Crafts, Business Expo
  • Music Festivals June to August at Wildlife West Nature Park
  • Highway Clean Ups - Working with other community organizations to keep our community beautiful
